Hex Cigar
The Hex cigar appears elegant with the white band against
the chocolate brown wrapper.
The dark brown wrapper and very tight seams makes this a
very amusing looking cigar.
The Hex Cigar has a magnificent construction. This cigar is
firm to the touch and is a pleasure hold in your hand. The Hex also has a
difficult to make pigtail cap.
The cap cut with out any effort and had no lose tobacco or
ragged edges. The exposed tobacco looked like it had been expertly packed. The
pre-lit draw was perfect, not to much resistance.
The aroma of this pre-lit cigar had a pleasing tobacco
scent. The foot toasted generously and properly. The Hex Cigar lit on the very
first effort.
The first few puff of this cigar produced coffee, cedar, and nut
flavor with some hints sweetness in the background. The Hex cigar produced a
good quantity of smoke.
The Hex cigar was a medium body smoke at this point, The
flavors played well together making it a very enjoyable smoke.
The artistic blends of tobaccos worked well together. The
first third developed a little pepper and the sweetness continued in the
background. The cedar, coffee, nut, and pepper had a delectable flavor that was
perfectly balanced.
The second third continued with the appetizing flavors. The sweetness has dropped off. The
strength of the Hex cigar remained in the medium-to-medium plus range. The Hex
cigar did not loose it firmness and burned evenly. So far this has been a very
gratifying smoking experience.
The last third of the Hex Cigar continued to produce the
same cedar, coffee, and nut flavors. The pepper has increased some, but is not
over powering and the sweetness that was in this smoke earlier has returned.
This cigar has developed a very satisfying taste. The Hex Cigar delivers a great and
enjoyable smoke. I’ll be smoking this cigar often and you will find this cigar
in my humidor.
Once again another fine cigar has been reduced to ashes.
Thank you Vero beach Smoke Inn for this great cigar.
