Perdomo 20th Anniversary maduro cigar
The construction of this beautiful cigar is flawless. It is
easy to see the expert craftsmanship and detail that was put into this cigar.
The wrapper is smooth, silky with sheen of oil. The aroma of the Perdomo 20th
Anniversary cigar is heavenly rich tobacco.
The Perdomo 20th Anniversary cigar has a slight box press
and it fits snugly between my fingers.
The seams on this cigar are tight and the appearance of the
Perdomo 20th Anniversary maduro cigar is like candy to the eyes.
The cap is well fabricated.
The cap on the Perdomo 20th Anniversary maduro cut with no
ragged edges, exposing the ends of the rich long leaf Nicaraguan tobacco.
The foot shows the perfectly packed tobacco and the foot was
very flat.
The foot of the Perdomo 20th Anniversary maduro cigar
toasted evenly and lit without effort. The first few puffs had a rich tobacco,
pepper, espresso and sweet chocolate flavor.
My wife, who is not a smoker, said that this cigar smelled
very pleasing. She thinks some cigars stink.
The aging and fermentation of the tobaccos in the Perdomo 20th
Anniversary maduro cigar has brought the tobaccos to an ideal blend of flavors.
The first third of this cigar had a combination of pepper,
espresso, and sweet chocolate. The smoke in my mouth is like a song, singing to
my taste buds a perfect melody.
Each puff deposits nice oils onto my tongue. This oil
carries the flavor between each puff.
Smoking this cigar is not a pleasure, but wonderful
experience. “ Are you experienced”
The Perdomo 20th Anniversary maduro cigar is a full bodied,
but smooth and creamy.
The pepper is still up front in the flavor profile. The
espresso, sweet chocolate rounds the tasting experience out.
The pepper in the second third has mellowed out a bit. The
espresso, sweet chocolate and oil remain creating a harmony of perfect pitch of
flavors.
The Perdomo Company grows their own tobaccos and they
control the complete process form seedlings to the finished cigar and they must
use a little magic to achieve this level of a cigar.
The last third of the cigar has mingled the flavors to
produce a smoke far superior to most cigars. Being a Nicaraguan puro with this
much oomph just proves in my belief that the world’s best tobacco comes from
Nicaragua. I do not think a better cigar could be produced any were else
in the world.
The Perdomo 20th Anniversary maduro cigar has remained a
cool smoke, no heat on the draws. This cigar has remained firmed through out.
The only problem is that this cigar is coming to an end.
You will need to smoke this fine cigar to experience its
pleasure.
You will find this cigar in my humidor. I am looking forward
to the next time I smoke one of these fine cigars.
Enjoy.
Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em.
